Chairman – CRB, GI
Brad Halter is Chairman of the Caine Company, where he leads community outreach and business development initiatives for the firm. A third generation realtor, Brad has held just about every position in the company, and has experience in residential sales and management, commercial sales and leasing and new home construction. Brad is active in the Upstate community, serving on the board of directors for the Greenville Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Cancer Society of Greenville County. When he′s not working, Brad enjoys fishing and hunting, reading, gardening and spending time with his wife and two grown daughters.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Stephen Edgerton is President and Chief Executive Officer of Caine Company and leads the strategic planning and day to day operations of the company. He joined the Caine Company in 2008, having previously worked as a Project Executive with IBM. Stephen sits on the board of directors for the Metro Greenville YMCA and the Board of Advisors for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 35, and has delivered the same Meals on Wheels route once a month for the past 5 years. Stephen earned his Bachelor of Arts in history from Rhodes College and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Arizona State University. He lives in downtown Greenville and enjoys running, cycling, live music and most anything that happens outdoors.
Executive Vice President of Sales
Amanda Jones serves as the Executive Vice President of Sales and leads Coldwell Banker Caine’s award winning residential sales team which closed over 2,100 transactions in 2013. Amanda’s 17 years of experience in the real estate business range from commercial real estate lending and real estate investment banking to residential sales as Broker, Sales Manager and Broker-In-Charge in the Charlotte, NC marketplace. Of her many achievements in real estate, she closed over $50 million in sales and was later awarded Chairperson of the Year for the Charlotte Regional Realtors Association. Amanda graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics and is a native of Savannah, GA. She is married to Kirk Jones, and they have a young daughter named Blair.
Vice President and Broker in Charge – ePro, GRI
Susan Clary has been active in real estate since 1988. She sold residential properties for 12 years and became a Broker-in-Charge in 2000. Today Susan leads the sales associates in our Greer and Easley Real Estate Galleries while managing the Team with Caine education program for the entire company. She works as a coach for our agents, conducting business planning and career development activities. Susan is active on the Spartanburg County Commission for Higher Education. She graduated from USC with a B.S. in Business Administration, and lives with her husband in the Spartanburg area. Susan enjoys spending time on the coast, working in the yard, and knitting.
Vice President, Sales Leader
Amanda Hamet serves as Vice President and Sales Leader for the Company’s Greenville agents. Amanda began her real estate career in 2005 and has over 15 years of leadership experience. She approaches business with a team mentality and a belief that workplace should be both supportive and fun. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Caine, Amanda worked as a manager for a local real estate firm where she was recognized for her ability to create a positive work environment and for consistently bringing change and growth into the work place. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Art from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Clemson. Amanda currently serves on the Board for the Greenville Literacy Association. She lives in Greenville with her husband Michael, a Greer native, and they have a young son named Hudson.
Vice President of Business Development and Community Relations
As a Greenville native with over 20 years of experience in relocation at Coldwell Banker Caine, Caroline Schroder is the premier authority on quality of life in upstate South Carolina. Her passion, commitment, knowledge and attention to detail create an unforgettable relocation experience. Caroline is deeply invested in helping create the best community. From board positions at the Art Museum, Greenville Convention & Visitor’s Board, the Charity Ball Board and the History Museum of the Upstate to serving on the United Way Campaign Cabinet, Caroline stays actively involved.
Project Executive and Director of Developer Relations
In her role, DeRoberts oversees the marketing and communications strategy for new construction projects and serves as a primary liaison with the developers in the Upstate in which Coldwell Banker Caine serves as the sales and marketing partner. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Caine, DeRoberts served as Branch Leader and Broker-in-Charge for another real estate company in the Upstate. DeRoberts earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Anthropology from Universidad de las Americas, in Cholula, Mexico, DeRoberts has lived all over the United States, including Oklahoma, Illinois, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina. DeRoberts has called the Upstate home since 1998.
Vice President of Sales and Community Relations
Angela Halstead serves as Vice President of Sales and Community Relations. Some of her responsibilities include leading the Spartanburg Coldwell Banker Caine residential team, recruiting new talent, and building the Coldwell Banker Caine brand in Spartanburg. Previously, Halstead served as a commercial sales agent. Halstead sits on the Board of Trustees for Ballet Spartanburg and is a member and former Board of Directors officer for Junior League of Spartanburg. She is a current Board member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent and a Graduate of Leadership Spartanburg. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two children. Halstead graduated from Converse College with a B.A. in Business Administration and Chemistry.
